Anonymous: what do you think of the saying about 80% people having met the person they'll marry by the age of 16? do you reckon it applies to you? who would it be?

Personally I don’t think this is a justifiable statistic. It is a huge generalisation. However, I do see some truth in it. A lot of people probably have met their match by the age of 16. However, many people don’t truly experience the world until after then. What about all the people who go traveling at 21 and end up marrying a foreigner like my parents did? What about when you go to a club for the first time at 18 or 21 and meet them there? What about when you go to college or university at 18? There are an endless amount of opportunities to meet your match beyond the age of 16. As for how it applies to me… Well, in my current relationship, no, it does not. I met my boyfriend at 17 but did not become friends with him until I was 18. Who knows if we will be together in the future but he seems to be on the right track atm :P thank you for that ask anon. It was very refreshing to answer such a thought provoking question :)

Started reading 50 Shades Darker… Congratulations E L James you have made some improvement. You’re ‘twist’ in the plot has me at wits end. Good job. Still should work on your writing skills though. I’m a little unsure as to whether the term ‘eclectic mix’ would be used by a character who thus far has evidenced a more casual persona. Keep trying though. There is still hope.

i really love hearing people talk about what they’re passionate about

things like art or science or everything and anything inbetween

hearing someone rant with love and passion is so fantastic

to see their eyes widen and watch their hands move, hear their speech quicken and know their heart is beating faster because every bit of their body just cares so much
